As noted in the November 18, 2015 letter(attached) our preliminary review of the building plans indicated a 3`d story window within a gabled dormer on the front roo£ This feature was not shown on the proposed roof plan. The potential issue is that if this is in fact a window, per City Code the building height is measured from the highest existing grade to the midpoint of the roof from the top of that window to the peak. With the window in place, the defined height of the home is approximately 33 feet, exceeding the 30-foot height maximum allowed by City Code. The simple solution is to remove the window in that gabled dormer, or remove the dormer entirely. e. Minnehaha Creek Watershed District (MCWD). As a minimum, you will need an MCWD Erosion Control Permit. Your project may trigger other MCWD permitting requirements; please contact the MCWD directly at 952-471-0590 regarding your project. Please note, the City of Orono will not issue a building permit without a copy of the MCWD Erosion Control Permit ar documentation stating the proposed project does not trigger any of their permitting requirements. £ Landscape Plan. Prior to the issuance of the building permit a landscape plan must be submitted showing all the proposed exterior/landscaping improvements, i.e. patios, grading, sidewalks, retaining walls, etc. The plan should include the name of the individual performing the work. The landscape plan should match what is shown on the survey.
