This�s especially true in the <br /> winter time, Even human foot traffic can cause frost to penetrate the mound resulting in potential <br /> freezing problems. <br /> Do inspect your mound system annually for winter kill, (reseed if necessary) anima! damage, <br /> (burrowing)or signs of potential failure. <br /> Do not plant trees or shrubs on the mound system, smaller trees and shrubs may be planted at the <br /> edges.
