John Malcolm Hollander
Case File. 27-CR-08-25585
Dear Greg:
As you know, Mr. Hollander was previously charged with misdemeanor
violations of no building certificate of occupancy and failure to maintain his grass. On
March 31, 2009 we agreed to suspend prosecution for a period of one year on the
condition of no same or similar violations and that he have no failure to maintain grass
violations. He currently is still under the court's jurisdiction.
It is my understanding in speaking with Mr. Oman that Mr. Hollander has refused
to maintain his grass and therefore is in danger of being in violation of his probation. I
would appreciate it if you would contact him immediately and advise that if his grass is
not taken care of within the next two weeks I will contact the court and have the stay
revoked and require him to return to court to face a misdemeanor sentence if need be.
This may include a substantial fine and, if he cannot pay it, we would be seeking sentence
to service or a possible jail time.
Sincerely,
Kenneth N. Potts .-
KNP/sb
cc: Lyle Oman, City of Orono
