Web-Based Email:: Print https://emaill lsecureserver.nedviewrint_multi.php?uidArray=2352...
Print Close Window
Subject: Permit for demolition at 200 Hollander Rd,Orono
From: Catherine Bach<cbach@minnehahacreek.org>
Date: Fri,Apr 29,2011 2:11 pm
To: "fred@farrconst.com"<fred@farrconst.com>
Attach: image001.png
NewErosionControlPerm itApplicantChecklistpdf
MCWD Erosion Control Rule.pdf
MCWD Combined Joint Notification Form.pdf
i Hi Fred, '
' Following up on our phone call today,it sounds like the demo project at 200 Hollander Road in Orono will require a MCWD permit due '
' to the amount of fill that needs to be brought in(>50 cy). I have attached the following permit application materials to this e-mail(also ',
' available at www.minnehahacreek.ore): '
1. Erosion Control Permit Application Checklist($10 application fee would be waived if the City is the applicant—see below)
2. Copy of the MCWD Erosion Control Rule full text '
3. MCWD Combined Joint Notification Form(application form) ',
! As you will see on the application form, usually the property owner is required to sign the application form. In this complicated
' foreciosure situation, the most logical thing may be to put the City's information as the property owner and have the someone at the
' City sign as the owner, and submit with the application some form of documentation from the City that supports this claim. This
' seems to make sense as,from my understanding, the City is requiring the demolition to occuc Please make sure to include any ,
' information known about the current property owner in a narrative to explain the situation. ,
' If the City does not want to"assume the role of the property owner"for this permit, the alternative would be to list the name, address, ',
! &contact info for the property owner as whoever it is at this point(bank?),and have someone at the bank sign the application I
', (scanned or faxed signatures are acceptable),or have the bank produce a letter authorizing you(or someone at the City)to sign the '
' application on their behalf. The bottom line is that whoever is listed as the property owner on the permit application is ultimately '
' responsible for activities conducted under the permit.
' Feel free to give me a call or send me an e-mail if anything is unclear—I'll be in touch.
i Have a great weekend!
' Catherine Bach
' DistrictTechnician
' Minnehaha Creek Watershed District
18202 Minnetonka Boulevard
Deephaven,MN 55391
Direct:(952)641-4504
Main Office:(952)471-0590 ;
; Fax:952-471-0682
www.minnehahacreek.ors
MtNNEHANA CIEK
' "MAtEIIiNf6 LRi3tkiCX '.
; P Think Green-please do not print this email unless necessary '
_ _ _ _
Copyright2003-2011.All rights reserved.
1 of 1 4/30/2011 12:45 PM
