The Planning Commission reviewed the original application on May 19, 2008 and
on a vote of 5 - 0 recommended approval of the variances, based on the following
findings:
a. An attached garage is a reasonable addition to the property.
b. The need for the side setback variance results from the side setback variance
that allows the existing house to be 6.4 feet from the side property line.
4. The Plarming Commission carefully reviewed the variance to allow a three story
addition and in addition to the findings noted above recommended approval based
on:
e. The topography of the lot.
f. The need for the garage floor to be above street grade to avoid drainage
problems.
g.
