Rouse and Anita M. Rouse, husUand and wife <br /> (hereinafter "the applicants") are the owners of the property located at 4051 Highwood <br /> Road within the City of Orono (hereinafter the"City") and legally described as follows: <br /> Tract A, Re�istered Land Survey No. 14?0, files of Registrar of Titles, Hennepin County, <br /> Miiuiesota(hereinafter tlle "property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have made application to the City of Orono <br /> for a variance to Orono Mtuiicipal Zoning Code Section 7�-330 SuUdivision B to allow a <br /> side setUacl� of 9.3' in order to reorient the roofline on the existing detached gara�e; and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have made application to the City of Orono <br /> for a variance to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-330 Subdivision B to allo�v a <br /> side setbacl� of 4.3' in order to reorient the roofline on the existing home in conjunction <br /> with a partial second story addition; and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have made application to the City of Orono <br /> for a variance to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-1288 Subdivision A to allo�v <br /> a second story to be constructed over the e�isting llome within 75' of the OHWL. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br /> Orono,Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File#04-3066. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-1B, One Fainily Lakeshore Residential <br /> Zoning District which requires a minimum lot area of 21,780 s.f. or '/2 acre <br /> and a minimum lot width of 140'. <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br />
