Plymouth Road Waterspheroid Tank Reconditioning—City of <br /> Minnetonka,Minn. Project Manager/Inspector on the 300,000 gallon <br /> waterspheriod tank reconditioning. This project used UHP water jetting for <br /> the removal of the exteriar paint system to reduce spent waste and worker <br /> exposure. Recipient of an Honor Award, 2001 Engineerir�g Excellertce <br /> Award—Environrnental Projects Category, Consulting Engineers Council of <br /> Minnesota. <br /> Colonial Hills Tank Reconditioning—City of Burnsville, Minn. Project <br /> Manager on the reconditioning of the City's 1 MG standpipe. Dan provided <br /> preparation and/or review of plans and specifications, and construction <br /> administration. In addition, Dan provided daily inspection of the surface <br /> preparation and recoat process including necessary field testing.Recipierrt of <br /> an Honor Award, 1998 Engineering Excellence Award—Environmerrtal <br /> category, Consulting Engineers Courrcil of Minnesota. <br /> Heather Hills Water Tower Reconditioning—City of Burnsville, Minn. <br /> Project Manager/Inspector on the 7 MG water tower reconditioning project. <br /> Dan directed the comprehensive field analysis of proposed coatings systems, <br /> preparation ofplans and specifications, detailed cost estimates,project <br /> administration. Dan provided daily inspection services as a NACE <br /> (International Association of Corrosion Engineers)and SSPC(Steel <br /> Structures Paining Council)trained inspector. He also provided daily visual <br /> monitaring for compliance to environmental regulations. The project scope <br /> involved full removal of both interior and exterior existing coating systems, <br /> and subsequent replacement with an epoxy/epoxy polyurethane coating <br /> systeili. Minor structural modifications were also made including the <br /> addition of roof manways for compliance to current Occupational Safety& <br /> Health Administration(OSHA) Standards. Presented a Grand Award, 1996 <br /> Engirreer•ing Excellence Award, Consulting Engirreers Council of Minnesota. <br /> Tank Reconditioning Projects—City of South St. Paul, Minn.Inspector <br /> on the City's tank reconditioning projects. Dan developed and/or reviewed <br /> plans and specifications and assisted with construction management for the <br /> City's 400,000 gallon elevated tank, 1 MG ground storage reservoir, and <br /> 750,000 gallon hydropillar. Reconditioning specifications were based in part <br /> on previously completed evaluation report.
