SECTION 2 <br /> BACKGROUND INFORMATION <br /> Green Trees Road is a private street which provides access to six single family residential <br /> parcels. The subdivision, Green Trees on Tanager Lake, was platted in 1980. Each lot has an <br /> onsite sewage disposal system consisting of septic tanks and a drain field. The lots on the north <br /> side of the street also have a pump station that pumps the septic tank effluent to the drain field. <br /> The other three lots appear to have a gravity flow system. <br /> There is an existing 8-inch sewer on the east side of Shoreline Drive at the Green Trees Road <br /> intersection. This gravity sewer flows to Grinder Station 9 on Bracketts Point Road which <br /> pumps the flow into the Metropolitan Council Environmental Services (MCES) forcemain on <br /> Shoreline Drive. <br /> Page 3 <br />
