RON STEFFENHAGEN,40 YEARS—RESOLiJTION NO.6472 <br /> Mayor McMillan presented Ron Steffenhagen with a resolution of appreciation for his 40 years of service. <br /> Levang moved,Bremer seconded,to adopt RESOLUTION NO.6472,a Resolution of Appreciation <br /> to Employee Ron Steffenhagen for his Forty Years of Dedicated Service. SPECIAL THANK YOU TO CITY COUNCIL MEMBER CYNTHIA BREMER— <br /> RESOLUTION NO.6473 <br /> Mayor McMillan presented a plaque and certificate of appreciation to Council Member Cynthia Bremer <br /> for her four years of service on the Planning Commission and eight years on the City Council. <br /> Bremer thanked Mayor McMillan,the Council Members, and City Staff for their support through the <br /> years. Bremer welcomed Jim Cornick and Dennis Walsh to the City Council and encourage everyone to <br /> continue to work together as a team. Bremer also thanked the Orono Police Department for their hard <br /> work in making Orono a great place to live. <br /> Levang moved,Cornick seconded,to adopt RESOLLTTION NO.6473,a Resolution of Appreciation <br /> to Cynthia Bremer for Distinguished Service as a Member of the Orono City Council. VOTE: <br /> Ayes 4,Nays 0,Bremer Abstained. <br /> 8. CERTIFICATES OF APPRECIATION FOR BIG ISLAND CLEANUP <br /> McMillan noted there was a major cleanup that occurred recently on and around Big Island. McMillan <br /> thanked the Lake Minnetonka Association,the Lake Minnetonka Power Squadron,and Gabriel Jabbour <br /> for all their hard work. McMillan noted they have performed this duty every year for the past several <br /> years. <br /> Levang stated the City is very lucky to have these organizations supporting the community and that <br /> without these individuals,the work would likely not have gotten done. <br /> Page 5 of 26 <br />
