REQUESTING CONVEYANCE OF TAX <br /> FORFEIT LAND FOR PUBLIC USE <br /> BY THE CITY OF ORONO <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized and eYisting <br /> tlnder the laws of the State of Mimlesota; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Mimlesota Statute 282, the City has received from <br /> Hennepin County a list of lands within the City which have become the property of the State of <br /> Mirulesota for non-payment of real estate taxes; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Heimepin County Board of Commissioners have classified said <br /> lands as non-conservation land and have authorized the sale of each such parcel of land subject to <br /> review and release by the City; and <br /> i�VI��I�EAS, the City Council has reviewed said lands for coinpliance with Iocal <br /> zoning ordinances, for the amount of outstanding special assessment remaining unpaid to the City, <br /> and/or for possible public use by the City as autharized by the statutes. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of <br /> Orono,pursuant to Minnesota Statute Section 282.01, Subdivision 1, hereby applies to the Herulepin <br /> County Board of Commissioners and to the Commissioner of Revenue for conveyance of the <br /> following tax forfeited land to the City for public use by the City of Orono. <br /> PARCELS R�'I'AINED FOR USE BY THE CITY <br /> District P.I.D.
