. - ,� � <br /> . . <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 183 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING . <br /> ORONO ZOlvING CODE SECTIONS 10.25 AND 10.40 <br /> AND AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 161,2ND SERIES <br /> PERTAII�TING TO REGULATIONS FOR <br /> CONSTRUCTION AND PLACEMENT OF <br /> TELECOMMUNICATION TOWERS AND ANTENNAS <br /> The City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota does hereby ordain: <br /> Section 1. Section 8 of Ordinance No. 161, 2nd Series adopted by the City Council on May 27, <br /> 1997 is hereby deleted,and the following language substituted in its place: <br /> "Section 8. Section 10.40, B-1 Retail Sales Business District, Subdivision 4(F) is <br /> hereby deleted and the following language substituted in its place: <br /> "F. Public Services. Public service structures, including but not limited to, <br /> electric transmission lines and buildings such as telephone exchange stations,booster <br /> or pressure stations, elevated tanks, lift stations and electric power substations. <br /> Personal wireless service and commercial broadcasting antennas and towers shall not <br /> be considered public service structures." <br /> Section 2. Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.40, Subdivision 4(I), "Antenna Structure" is <br /> hereby deleted. • <br /> Section 3. Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.40 Subdivision 5(H), "Antenna" is hereby <br /> deleted and the following language substituted in its place: <br /> "H. Communication Reception/Transmission Devices. <br /> 1. Accessory Antennas. Accessory antennas shall be limited to radio <br /> and television receiving antennas, satellite dishes, TVRO's, and amateur short-wave radio <br /> transmitting and receiving antennas. Accessory antennas that are accessory to the principal <br /> use of the property are permitted accessory uses in all zoning districts provided they meet <br /> the following conditions: <br /> a.
