, , � .. . � . <br /> 6 <br /> Ordinance No. �, Second Series <br /> An Ordinance of the City of Orono, Minnesota, amending <br /> Orono City Code Chapter 10 entitled "Land IIse Regulations <br /> (Zoning)" by adding or amending definitions, amending performance <br /> standards for accessory structures, commercial keeping of <br /> animals, Iand alterations not permitted with building permits, <br /> tree removal within 75 feet of the lakeshore per staff permit, <br /> addition of necessary findinqs for granting variances, addinq <br /> conditional uses within residential districts, allowing lock <br /> boxes within 75 feet of the lakeshore, accessory structures <br /> within lakeshore yards subject to average lakeshore setback line <br /> and to allow use of temporary dwellinq or trailer while <br /> constructing a n� home per staff permit. -- <br /> The City of Orono Ordains: <br /> The Municipal Code of the City of Orono is amended by <br /> adding Ordinance No. �, Second Series: <br /> Section 1. Orono City Code Section 10.02 is hereby amended by <br /> adding the following definitions: <br /> Commercial Operations. Operations where business is <br /> conducted by the sale or exchange of goods and/or services <br /> on site for money or other valuable consideration. <br /> Riding Academy. A building, structure or other facility <br /> which is usecl for the instruction and training in care and <br /> handling for a fee or other valuable consideration. <br /> Stables and Barns - Private. A building or structure used <br /> or intended to be used for the keeping of hoofed animals <br /> belonging to the occupant of the property, and kept for non- <br /> commercial purposes. <br /> Yard Requirements. Those requirements which relate <br /> exclusively to the size of yard areas when such are required <br /> within specific zoning districts. <br /> Section 2. Ordinance Section 10.03, Subdivision 7 is hereby <br /> repealed and the following language substituted in its place: <br /> One Building Per Lot. Except in the case of Planned <br /> Residential Developments as provided for hereinafter, no <br /> more than one principal building shalY be located on a lot <br /> except that staff may issue a permit to use a manufactured <br /> home that shall meet all required setback standards or an <br /> existing dwelling while a new principal� structure is being <br /> constructed. Such permit shall be issued for a period of 3 <br /> months, any extensions must be approved by the City and <br /> shall expire upon issuance of a certificate of occupancy for <br /> the new structure and such structure removed. <br />
