refuse to issue a permit when, in the judgment of the Public Works <br /> Director, the requested construction would impose an unreasonable <br /> hazard to the public. Such decision may be appealed in writing by <br /> the applicant to the City Council . The City Council shall have <br /> the power to affirm, reverse or modify the decision of the Public <br /> Works Director. <br /> Subd. 4 . Permit Fees . The fees for permits for the <br /> construction of improvements as outlined above, shall be as set <br /> forth in the City' s Fee Schedule which may be amended from time to <br /> time. <br /> Subd. 5 . Revocation of Permit . <br /> A. All permits granted for the use of public <br /> property under thz terms of this Ordinance shall be revocable by <br /> the Public Works Director pursuant to the procedure set out below <br /> in Section 6 . 05 , Subd. 6, "Authority of Public works Director . " <br /> B . In addition to the provisions of Section 6 . 05 , <br /> Subd. 6 , a permit may be revoked by the City Council and City <br /> shall have the right to revise, relocate or close any side:•:alk, <br /> curb and gutter, drive:�ay, driveway approach, driveway tur�.around, <br /> curb cut or private improvemen� in any public road or other public <br /> property in the City as the result oi the reconstruction of a�1y <br /> road, a change in land use, or a major change in the tracfic <br /> pattern of an existing land use . <br /> Subd. 6 . Authority of Pi:blic works Director . <br /> A. All work done under a per�iit issued in � <br /> compliance with this Ordinance shall be under the direction and <br /> supervision of the Public Works Director, who is he:eby authorized <br /> to make the necessary ruies, regul�� �ions and specifications with <br /> respect to materials for and method of construction of a sidewalk, <br /> curb and gutter, drive�ay, driveway approach, driveway turnaround, <br /> curb cut, roadwa� surfacing or private improvement in any public <br /> road or other public property in the City. A copy of such rules <br /> and regulations shall be kept on file with the City Clerk. A <br /> permit issued under the provisions of this Ordinance may be <br /> revoked by the Public Works Director when he or she determines <br /> that the construction or activity authorized by the permit is not <br /> being performed according to the terms of the permit or this <br /> Ordinance. <br /> B. Notice of such revocation, with a description <br /> of the facts supporting such revocation, shall be mailed or <br /> delivered to the person named in the permit at the address listed <br /> in the permit. <br /> C. All work shall cease upon receipt of the Notice <br /> of Revocation. � <br /> � -4- <br />
