Subd. 8. The Council may issue the number of licenses <br /> authorized by statute or restrict such number from time to time <br /> as it may, in its discretion, deem proper . <br /> Subd. 9. The business records of the licensee, including <br /> Federal and State tax returns, shall be available for inspection by <br /> the Council, or other duly authorized representative of the City, <br /> at all reasonable times. <br /> Subd. 10. Any proposed enlargement , alteration or <br /> extension of premise shall be reported to the City Clerk at or <br /> before the time application is made for a building permit . <br /> Subd. 11. Every license shall be granted subject to <br /> the provisions of the Chapter and all other applicable provisions <br /> of the City Code and other laws relating to the operation of the <br /> licensed business . <br /> Ofl�i-SALE LIQIIOR AND WI1�EE <br /> Subd. 12. No person under the age of eighteen ( 18) <br /> years shall be employed upon premises , or in any rooms <br /> constituting the same, except that persons under the age of <br /> eighteen years may be employed as musicians or to perform the <br /> duties of a busboy or dishwashing services in places defined as a <br /> restaurant , hotel or motel . <br /> Subd. 13. On-sale licenses shall be granted only to <br /> hotels , motels, restaurants and bona fide clubs . <br /> Subd. 14. No on-sale license shall be granted for a <br /> restaurant or hotel which does not have a total market value, <br /> including land, building and equipment of at least $2H4l,00PJ.0P1, nor <br /> shall a Sunday sale license be granted for a restaurant or hotel <br /> which does not ha ve a total market value, including land, building <br /> and equipment of at least $500, 000.00, as appraised by the City <br /> Assessor , except that the Council may grant a license where the <br /> total market value is less than the required value on the condition <br /> that the establishment be improved within five years to the <br /> required market value, not including an increase in value caused by <br /> the original granting of the liquor license. <br /> Subd. 15. No license renewal application shall be <br /> considered by the Council until the applicant has filed with the <br /> City Clerk a statement made by a certified public accountant , <br /> setting forth the total gross sales and the total food sales of the <br /> restaurant for the twelve-month period immediately preceding the <br /> date for filing renewal applications. <br /> Subd. 16. No on-sale license shall be granted to <br /> restaurants or hotels unless they are located in a B-1 Commercial <br /> Business District. <br /> ORONO CC � (4-1-84) <br /> 81 <br />
