<br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE <br />ORONO CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />June 27, 2016 <br />4:00 o’clock p.m. <br /> <br />____________________________________________________________________________ <br /> <br />PRESENT: Mayor Lili Tod McMillan, Council Members Jim Cornick, Jr., Aaron Printup, Lizz Levang, <br />and Denny Walsh. Representing Staff were City Administrator Jessica Loftus, Finance Director Ron <br />Olson, Police Chief Correy Farniok, Police Sergeant Scott Boris, and City Clerk Diane Tiegs. <br /> <br />The Council met at 4:00 p.m. to interview four firms for consideration as the City’s prosecuting <br />attorney. <br /> <br />• Carson, Clelland & Schreder <br />• Kenneth Potts, P.A. <br />• Gregerson, Rosow, Johnson & Nilan, Ltd. <br />• Tallen and Baertschi <br /> <br />Council directed staff to prepare an agenda item for action on the City’s prosecuting attorney at <br />the July 11, 2016 Council meeting. <br /> <br />Council discussed the 2017 Budget line items and priorities. The tax levy, wages, and insurance <br />were items for discussion.
