For floors over outdoor air, such asl <br /> overhangs, the overall U-Value for the floor shall meet the same requirement as for the <br /> roofs, U-Value of 0.04. <br /> 2.) Slab-on-grade floors: <br /> For slab-on-grade, the insulation around the perimeter of the exposed floor shall <br /> have a minimum R-Value of 6.4. The insulation must extend downward from the <br /> top of the slab a minimum of 3'-6" or downward to the bottom of the slab then <br /> horizontally beneath the slab for an equivalent distance. <br /> 3.)
