ACCEPT DONATION <br /> Anderson moved,Printup seconded,to accept the donation of a 2005 Ford ambulance from North <br /> Memorial Ambulance Service to be used as the Lake Area ERU vehicle and to recognize the <br /> generosity and support of North Memorial. VOTE: Ayes 5,Nays 0. <br /> Anderson moved,Printup seconded,to authorize the sale of a 1989 Ford van,VIN# <br /> 1FDKE30M6KH889655,through the Minneapolis Auto Auction or similar type auction. VOTE: <br /> Ayes 5,Nays 0. <br /> *17. DISPOSAL OF FORFEITED VEHICLES <br /> Anderson moved,Printup seconded,to authorize the disposal of four forfeited vehicles: Both <br /> Chevy vehicles to be auctioned through Minneapolis Auto Auction(Adesa) or a similar type <br /> auction,and to authorize the 1999 Jeep and 1995 Honda to be sold as scrap. VOTE: Ayes 5, <br /> Nays 0. <br /> *18. DISPOSAL OF UNCLAIMED PROPERTY <br /> Anderson moved,Printup seconded,to approve the disposal of unclaimed property through K-BID <br /> (public auction)and a local jewelry store. Items that are not sold will be discarded. VOTE: <br /> Ayes 5,Nays 0. <br /> 19. JOINT MEETING WITH LONG LAKE CITY COUNCIL <br /> Loftus stated the City of Long Lake has requested a joint council workshop with the City of Orono <br /> sometime this fall. Loftus asked what date the Council would prefer. <br /> Levang indicated she would be able to attend on any of the dates listed. <br /> McMillan asked if there are any dates that do not work for anybody. <br /> Anderson indicated October 14 would not work for her. <br /> Bremer indicated she would be gone MEA weekend. <br /> Loftus stated she will forward the other three dates to the Long Lake City Administrator and get back to <br /> the Council on what date is accepted to the City of Long Lake. <br /> Page 34 of 37 <br />
