SECTION 6. The following language is hereby deleted and added to Section 78-329 of the <br /> Orono City Code: <br /> "Sec. 78-329. Accessory Uses. <br /> Within any LR-1B one-family lakeshore residential district, only the following <br /> uses shall be permitted accessory uses, provided thev are subordinate to, and associated <br /> with and located on the same lot as a permitted use: <br /> (1) Buildings temporarily located for purposes of construction on the premises <br /> for a period not to exceed time necessary for such constructing. <br /> � Private a�ra eg s and parking spaces. <br /> � Other accessory detached buildin�s that are not gara�es, such as sheds, <br /> tool houses, workshops, pool cabanas, �reenhouses, �azebos, detached <br /> covered decks, carports, etc. <br /> �4,� Private recreational sportin� facilities such as swimmin�pools, basketball <br /> hoops, hockey rinks, tennis courts & sport courts, trampolines, skateboard <br /> ramps, battin�cages, etc. and other `recreational sporting facilities' which <br /> are for the convenience and use of the residents of the propertv and their <br /> u.�ests. <br /> �5,� Private recreational and play facilities such as hot tubs and spas, <br /> recreational fire rings, patios, barbecue pits and outdoor kitchens, <br /> playhouses and play structures, swing sets, etc. and other `recreational <br /> play facilities' which are for the convenience and use of the residents of <br /> the property and their ug ests. <br /> (6) Private docks, subject to this code and other applicable regulations, <br /> including boat storage density requirements. The accessory use of a <br /> private dock shall not include renting space. <br /> � Kennel structures, subject to the provisions of Chapter 62, Article 3. <br /> � Fencin subject to the provisions of Section 78-1405(7). <br /> � Signs, as regulated in this chapter. <br /> � Flagpoles, subject to accessory structure location rec�uirements of this <br /> Chapter. <br /> (�} 1�1,�Gardening and other horticultural uses, including arbors, trellises, aviaries <br /> and decorative landscape features, and lawn sprinkler svstems. <br /> � Compost structures and firewood piles. <br /> ��Home occupations, as defined in this chapter. All home occupations shall <br /> comply with the provisions of Section 78-1376, and the licensing <br /> provisions of 26-76, when applicable. <br /> {� 1�4,�One roadside stand offering for sale only farm products produced on the <br /> premises, provided such stand does not exceed 200 square feet in area and <br /> is located at least 30 feet back from the public right-of-way. <br /> Page 10 of 39 <br />
