Site Plan Review Application 13-3589 <br /> JEM Technical <br /> Page 2 <br /> 3.0 Grading and Draina e�Plan: <br /> 3.1) The applicant will be required to obtain a Minnehaha Creek Watershed District(MCWD) <br /> pernut for the proposed work. The Stormwater Management Plan and Stormwater Pollution <br /> Prevention Plan must be submitted to MCWD for their review and approval. <br /> Redevelopment sites greater than 1 acre with less than 40% site disturbance and less than a <br /> 50%increase in impervious surface must provide phosphorus control,rate control,and <br /> volume control for the additional impervious surface. A copy of the permit should be <br /> submitted to the City prior to any land disturbing activities. <br /> 3.2) It appears that more than 1 acre will be disturbed with the proposed improvements. <br /> Therefore,a NPDES/SDS General Stormwater Permit for Construction Activity will be <br /> required,and a copy should be submitted to the City prior to any land altering activities. <br /> 3.3) The proposed storm sewer should be shown on the Grading Plan to indicate direction of <br /> drainage. <br /> 4.0 SWPPP: <br /> 4.1) The rock construction entrance location should be shown on the plan. <br /> 4.2) The proposed storm sewer should be shown on the SWPPP to indicate direction of drainage. <br /> 4.3) Siltfence should be added at the proposed 12"flared-end section,with ends directed upslope. <br /> 4.4) Note 11 indicates a designated concrete washout location should be shown on the plan. If a <br /> concrete washout is to be allowed on site,the location should be indicated on the plan,and a <br /> detail should be added. The detail should include dimensions and containment and removal <br /> procedures <br /> 5.0 Utility Plan: <br /> 5.1) The applicant should consider upsizing the outlet from the truck dock trench drain to 6"or <br /> greater in order to minimize the chance of clogging. <br /> 5.2) A detail for the proposed trench drain at the underground entrance should be added. The <br /> detail should include elevations,dimensions,and materials. <br /> 5.3) A concrete headwall with a rodent guazd should be added to the truck dock trench drain <br /> outlet. <br /> 5.4) The catchbasin manhole detail indicates a structure number of 100,but the catchbasin in the <br /> proposed parking lot is labeled 101. The numbering should be revised to be consistent <br /> between detail and plan view. <br /> 5.5) A note neaz CBMH#101 indicates 52LF of 12"RCP @ 0.50% to be installed, but no pipe is <br /> graphically indicated. If no pipe is to be installed in this location,the note should be <br /> removed. <br /> 5.6) An appropriate amount of MnDOT Class 3 riprap should be installed at the proposed 12" <br /> flazed-end section for energy dissipation. A note should be added to call out quantity,and a <br /> detail should be added to indicate proper installation. <br />
