Hau�en & Cynthia M. Haugen, husband and �vife <br /> (hereinafter "the applicants") are the owners of the property located at 3320 Fox Street within the <br /> City of Orono (hereinafter the "City") and legally described as follows: <br /> Lot 5, Block 1, Fullerton Estates, Hennepin County, Miiuiesota (hereinafter the <br /> "property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have made application to the City of Orono for a <br /> variance to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-1279 Subdivision 6 to allow construction <br /> of an in-ground pool ahead of the average lakeshore setback. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> I'INDINGS <br /> l. This application was reviewed as Zoning File 06-3198. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-lA, One Family Lakeshore Zoning District <br /> which requires a minimum lot area of 2.0 acres and a minimum lot width of 200'. <br /> 3. The Plaruling Commission reviewed this application at a public hearing held on <br /> May 15, 2006 and recommended approval of the average lakeshore setback <br /> variance based on the following findings: <br /> a. The propert_y has 3.17 acres or 138,2?4 s.f. in area and 220' at the lake and <br /> 207' at the 75' setback. <br /> b.
