You and I discussed the project yet at that time you did not have a cubic yardage calculation for the fill or actual wall <br /> plans. Upon reviewing the proposal it appears portions of the retaining wall system will be over 9 feet high when <br /> measured from existing grade. This results in the wall appearing to be quite massive when viewed from adjacent <br /> properties. If the filling calculation exceeds 500 cubic yards a CUP will be required, and one of the likely conditions will be <br /> that the portions of the wall exceeding 6 feet in height may be required to meet a greater setback of 10 feet from the <br /> side and rear property lines. If the fill calculation fails beneath 500 cubic yards, it is recommended that you move the <br /> walls back to meet a 10-foot setback from the property lines as a courtesy to the impacted neighbors. <br /> Please discuss with your surveyor the necessary grading plan requirements (i.e. proposed grades mentioned in #2 above) <br /> to be shown on the survey prior to submittal. Your surveyor should be provided with the attached Survey and Site Plan <br /> Requirements sheet if they do not have a copy.
