MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO CITY COUNCIL <br />MEETING HELD ON JULY 28,1997 • <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />Khosrow Daivar Continued <br />Jabbour told Daivar that all similar cases require going through the variance process. <br />Kelley related the importance of the law. He informed Daivar that with the hardship as <br />noted, he should probably be able to receive the variance for the screened area. <br />Van Zomeren indicated that there is no survey on file. She said the need to acquire one <br />would involve a time issue for Daivar. <br />Jabbour said staff would have to review the history of the conformity of the property. <br />He asked Van Zomeren to work with the building inspector in the variance process. <br />Allan Engleman, 315 Old Crystal Bay Road, voiced his outrage with the defacing of the <br />City property by landscape workers using a skid loader. He informed Council that the <br />damage must be corrected. <br />• <br />Council indicated the matter would be addressed. <br />ZONING ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br />( * 94) #2187 DONALD AND ROBIN HELGAGER, 3265 SIXTH AVENUE <br />NORTH - VARIANCES - RESOLUTION NO. 3931 <br />Goetten moved, Peterson seconded, to adopt Resolution No. 3931, granting side setback, <br />average lakeshore setback and lakeshore setback variances for construction of additions <br />to the residence at 3265 Sixth Avenue North for Donald and Robin Helgager.
