r <br />MINUTES OF THE ORONO COUNCIL MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 25, 1989 <br />. MAYOR /COUNCIL REPORT CONTINUED <br />City Administrator Bernhardson said that his understanding <br />of the process is that the LMCD is putting everything on paper <br />now and will schedule a meeting for the initial review of the <br />papers with the LMCD and other local officials. He said that <br />there would then be a review and comment period following the <br />meeting for a 2 to 3 months. <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: <br />HAZARDOUS BUILDING PROCEEDINGS <br />1949 FAGERNESS POINT ROAD <br />RESOLUTION #2713 <br />City Administrator Bernhardson said that the proposed <br />hazardous building proceeding outlined the various structural <br />failures and problems for both the house and garage. The house <br />is currently rented, and the homeowner and Building Inspector <br />will be meeting out on the site to see what corrections can be <br />made if any. Bernhardson said that the City staff is <br />recommending initiation of hazardous building proceedings and <br />if there is a resolution of the problems prior to going to court, <br />the proceedings will be held in abeyance at that point. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Goetten, seconded by <br />Councilmember Peterson, to adopt resolution #2713 initiating <br />• hazardous building proceedings for 1949 Fagerness Point Road. <br />Motion, Ayes =4, Nays =O, Motion passed. <br />1990 BUDGET MEETING /BUDGET PRESENTATION* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Goetten, seconded by <br />Councilmember Peterson, to accept the information in advance of <br />its meeting at 6 p.m., Wednesday, September 27, 1989. Motion, <br />Ayes =4, Nays =O, Motion passed. <br />1990 MOUND FIRE CONTRACT* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Goetten, seconded by <br />Councilmember Peterson, to table action on this item pending <br />discussion of selected items with the City of Mound. Motion, <br />Ayes =4, Nays =O, Motion passed. <br />STUBB'S BAY - REVIEW OF ISSUES* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Goetten, seconded by <br />Councilmember Peterson, to direct staff to send a letter to the <br />abutting property owners outlining the level of support needed in <br />order for the Council and City to further consider this as a <br />project. Motion, Ayes =4, Nays =O, Motion passed. <br />ADMINISTRATOR'S INFORMATION* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Goetten, seconded by <br />Councilmember Peterson, to accept the City Administrator's <br />Information regarding: Highway 12 Feasibility; Facilities; Rest <br />• Point Road /Circle Boat House; Clean Up Day; and Cable TV Rates. <br />Motion, Ayes =4, Nays =O, Motion passed. <br />15 <br />
