The issue is "whether LMCD policy
should favor dispersal of on -shore attactions to lesser used bays
or whether such attractions should be concentrated to minimize
their effect on other bays. At issue would be bars, restaurants,
marinas, yacht clubs or homeowner's associations. In short, any
operation requiring multiple dock license." Nettles'
interpretation of this is that the LMCD would disperse it from
more used bays to less used bays, such as Smith Bay and Tanager
Lake. Nettles said that the Public may be interested in knowing
that the LMCD is considering such a policy. He suggested that •
City staff find out from the LMCD Representative what the status
of the procedure is and where and how the Public can express its
opinion.
14
