1989 RECONVENED BOARD OF REVIEW <br />9. Michael Miller, 870 Windjammer Road • <br />P.I.D. 07- 117 -23 11 0012 <br />Mr. Miller stated he had telephone contact with the Assessor and <br />the 1989 market value of his property had been changed to <br />$208,000 but he had not received anything in written form <br />regarding the change. Mr. Erickson confirmed the value had been <br />changed to $208,000 and that notification of this change was in <br />the mail to Mr. Miller. <br />No action by the Board. <br />10. A. F. Gallistel, 2933 Casco Point Road <br />P.I.D. 20- 117 -23 31 0048 <br />Mr. Gallistal asked for a breakdown of value between land and <br />structure on the 1989 valuation of $196,400. Ms. Gunderian <br />stated the breakdown. Mr. Gallistal stated that old houses have <br />a negative impact on the property noting that a couple of older <br />houses on Casco Point have either been torn down or removed from <br />the property to allow new construction. <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Councilmember Nettles <br />to accept the Assessor's 1989 market value. Motion, Ayes 5, <br />Nays 0. <br />11. Kenneth Roelofs, 1650 Shadywood Road <br />P.I.D. 17- 117 -23 21 0014 • <br />Mr. Roelofs asked for a breakdown of the $231,100 1989 market <br />value stating that he did not feel he could sell his property <br />for this amount. <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Councilmember <br />Peterson, to accept the Assessor's 1989 market value. Motion, <br />Ayes 5, Nays 0. Mr. Erickson asked if he could go through the <br />house and Mr. Roelofs stated he should call and make <br />arrangements to do so. <br />12. Mrs. Bill Fox, 1095 Ferndale Road West <br />P.I.D. 02- 117 -23 43 0023 <br />Mrs. Fox stated the 1989 market value had been adjusted to <br />$525,000 and asked for a breakdown of this valuation. Mr. <br />Erickson stated the land is this area is very valuable and the <br />land was valued at $475,000 and the structure at $50,000. Mrs. <br />Fox stated that she would not be able to rebuild the house on <br />this property if it were destroyed. City Administrator <br />Bernhardson stated he would check with the Building and Zoning <br />Department to determine if that information was correct. Mr. <br />Erickson noted that land values in this area had been raised <br />because of sales. <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Councilmember Nettles <br />to accept the Assessor's 1989 market value.
