• MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD JUNE 13, 1988 <br />#1267 JANE LEVERING <br />1585 SIXTH AVENUE NORTH <br />FINAL SUBDIVISION <br />RESOLUTION #2443 <br />City Administrator Bernhardson explained the proposed 2 <br />lot subdivision at the corner of Sixth Avenue North and <br />Long Lake Blvd. Each lot satisfies the current zoning <br />standards of 2 acres and the minimum width standards. <br />Lot 1 will access via Long Lake Blvd. and Lot 2 will <br />access via Sixth Avenue North. <br />Zoning Administrator Mabusth noted that the property may <br />be purchased by one owner and then there-wou•ld be no <br />need to change the existing access or address and the <br />property may then be re- combined. <br />Tom Haislet was present for this matter and stated that <br />the proposed buyer of Lot 1 has not yet decided to buy <br />Lot 2. <br />Councilmember Goetten asked if the existing garage <br />workshop contained any plumbing? <br />y <br />h • Zoning Administrator Mabusth stated that there was no <br />plumbing in the workshop to her knowledge. <br />Councilmember Goetten suggested that the resolution be <br />'N <br />amended to state that no plumbing will be allowed in <br />the accessory structure, nor will it be allowed to be <br />used for residential habitation. <br />x It was moved by Councilmember Goetten, seconded by <br />Councilmember Sime, to adopt Resolution #2443 approving <br />the subdivsion subject to the previous stated amendment. <br />Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />#1269 RICHARD NOLAND <br />1395 ORONO LANE <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />RESOLUTION #2444 <br />Jane Noland was present for this matter. <br />City Administrator Bernhardson explained the request for <br />a conditional use permit to allow the use of an <br />apartment area on the second floor of the existing <br />detached garage for the use of a relative during the <br />months of April through November. This request involves <br />a substantial lot area variance to allow this use under' <br />the standards of a guest house. This property has a <br />• <br />history regarding the sewer and a covenant that allows <br />the opportunity to reinstate the use of the guest <br />apartment. <br />0 <br />
