• MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD MARCH 14, 1988 <br />APPOINTMENT OF PLANNING COMMISSION CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR CONTINUED <br />Cohen noted that the Planning Commission is short one <br />member at this time and recommended appointment of <br />another member as soon as possible.. <br />Acting City Administrator Gerhardson noted that staff is <br />working on submitting a list of interested applicants to <br />fill the vacancy created by Paul Taylor's resignation. <br />Councilmember Goetten recommended placing a notice of <br />the vacancy on the Planning Commission in the paper. <br />Council. commended Planning Commission for their <br />extensive volunteer time serving on the Commission. <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: <br />HAZARDOUS BUILDING•PROCEEDINGS - <br />2339 OLIVE AVENUE - RESOLUTION #2381 <br />3017 NORTH SHORE DRIVE - RESOLUTION #2382 <br />3960 SIXTH AVENUE NORTH - RESOLUTION #2383 <br />525 TONRAWA ROAD - RESOLUTION #2384 <br />Acting City Administrator Gerhardson reviewed the <br />• following four properties for commencement of hazardous <br />building proceedings: <br />2339 Olive_ Avenue. - Single Family dwelling - The owner <br />has indicated plans to remove the building. Staff <br />recommends adopting the Hazardous Building resolution <br />and hold in abeyance until June 1, 1988. <br />It was moved by Mayor•Grabek, seconded by Councilmember <br />Goetten, to adopt Resolution #2381 Ordering Abatement of <br />Hazardous Building Action at 2339, Olive Avenue, subject <br />to holding the action in abeyance until June 1,1988. <br />Motion, Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />3017 North Shore Drive. - Greenhouse - The owner has <br />indicated plans to remove the building as soon as <br />weather permits. Staff recommends adopting the <br />Hazardous Building resolution and hold in abeyance until <br />June 1, 1988. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Sime, seconded by <br />Councilmember Peterson, to adopt Resolution #2382 <br />Ordering Abatement of Hazardous Building Action at 3017 <br />North Shore Drive, subject to holding the action in <br />abeyance until June 1., 1988. Motion, Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />• 3960 Sixth Avenue ,North - Out buildings - The owner has <br />indicated plans to remove the buildings by April 15, <br />1988. Staff recommends adopting the Hazardous Building <br />resolution and hold in abeyance until that date. <br />5 <br />
