MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD JANUARY 11, 1988 <br />VTY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: <br />HAZARDOUS BUILDING PROCEEDINGS <br />-1950 SHORELINE DRIVE - <br />CABIN 1 - RESOLUTION #2349 <br />CABIN 2 - RESOLUTION #2350 <br />-325 CRESTVIEW - RESOLUTION #2351 <br />-1065 LINDEN LANE - RESOLUTION #2352 <br />-3440 BAYSIDE ROAD - RESOLUTION <br />-LOT 4, BLOCK 5, BERGQUIST & WICKLUNDS PARR - <br />RESOLUTION #2353 <br />- 3405.LIVINGSTON AVENUE - RESOLUTION #2354 <br />1950 Shoreline Drive - Two Cabins - No Sewer <br />City Administrator Bernhardson explained that the <br />owner of this property has submitted a letter <br />requesting that the two cabins be allowed to remain <br />as is until April 30, 1988 in order to give the <br />current tenants an opportunity to relocate; and <br />starting May 1, 1988 they would render them <br />uninhabitable. Staff recommends approval of the <br />request. <br />• <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by <br />Councilmember Peterson, to adopt Resolution #2349 <br />for Cabin 1 and Resolution #2350 for Cabin 2 <br />ordering the abatement of Hazardous Building Action <br />at 1950 Shoreline Drive subject to holding the <br />action .in abeyance until May 1, 1988. Motion, Ayes <br />4, Nays 0. <br />325 Crestview - Single Family Dwelling & Garage - <br />Foundation walls missing - deteriorated condition <br />Bill Sullivan, owner of the property was present for <br />this matter. He stated that the current renters are <br />in the process and /or have moved out. <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by <br />Councilmember Sime; to adopt Resolution #2351 <br />ordering the abatement of Hazardous Building Action <br />at 325 Crestview. 'Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />Building Official Jacabs was directed to advise Mr. <br />Sullivan on the proper procedure to secure the <br />property against unlawful entry. <br />10 <br />
