MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD DECEMBER 14, 1987 <br />COUNTY ROAD 15 CONTINUED <br />Councilmember Peterson also felt more time was needed to <br />review the information before she could recommend <br />approval. <br />Mayor Grabek felt that the proposed motion was a <br />preliminary and logical first step of approval feeling <br />that Council will have more time to review. <br />Councilmember Callahan felt that items c & d, if <br />approved, seemed to indicate final rather than <br />preliminary action. <br />City Attorney Blatz recommended that item d be amended <br />to not indicate the breakdown of the preliminary <br />$126,000 allotment for the assessments until review of <br />market value tests. <br />Mayor Grabek amended his motion to reflect City Attorney <br />Blatz' recommendation. <br />Motion, Ayes 3, Nays 2. Councilmember Goetten and <br />Peterson voted nay. Motion carried. <br />_LANNING COMMISSION COMMENTS <br />Planning Commissioner Jeff Johnson was present and had <br />no comments at this time. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />There were no comments from the public. <br />ZONING ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: <br />1643 BRUCE CURTISS <br />1920 FAGERNESS POINT ROAD <br />VARIANCE <br />RESOLUTION <br />Bruce and Camille Curtiss were present for this matter. <br />City Administrator Bernhardson explained that Council at <br />their last'meeting preliminarly denied the request for a <br />6' fence along the street right -of -way line within the <br />75' lakeshore setback. Staff has drafted and submitted <br />a resolution reflecting the 3 -1/2' fence approved by <br />Council for final consideration and approval. He noted <br />that this information was mailed late Friday and the <br />Curtiss' did not received their copy until late today <br />and therefore may request that final action be tabled <br />until the January 11, 1988 Council meeting. <br />Bruce Curtiss requested that this be tabled for a month <br />in order for their legal counsel to review. <br />3 <br />
