MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD DECEMBER 14, 1987 <br />1988 FEE SCHEDULE <br />ORDINANCE AND SUMMARY FOR PUBLICATION <br />ORDINANCE NO. 44, SECOND SERIES <br />City Administrator Bernhardson explained the proposed <br />adjustment of fees as they reflect the costs of <br />performing the services. He noted a change to the <br />summary ordinance regarding mechanical permit fees. <br />It was moved by Counci lmember Sime, seconded by Mayor <br />Grabek, that the City Council adopt the 1988 Fee <br />Schedule as submitted and adopt Summary Ordinance No. <br />44, Second Series for publication. Motion, Ayes 5, Nays <br />0. <br />ORDINANCE AMENDMENT - <br />CHAPTER 12 RELATING TO FILL MATERIALS <br />ORDINANCE NO. 45, SECOND SERIES <br />City Administrator Bernhardson explained the adoption <br />of the proposed ordinance amendment that would regulate <br />the type of fill that is permitted to be used in the <br />community. This amendment will be coordinanted within <br />the City's zoning chapter within the next two months. <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Councilmember <br />Goetten, to adopt Ordinance Amendment No. 45, Second <br />Series to Chapter 12 relating to the quality of fill <br />that can be used in the community without appropriate <br />permits. Motion, Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />-1988 LICENSE APPROVAL - <br />ON AND OFF SALE LIQUOR /SET UP /CLUB/ <br />ON AND OFF SALE NON - INTOXICATING LIQUOR <br />City Administrator Bernhardson explained the following <br />issues: <br />1. Approval of the renewal of four licenses for <br />which there has been no demonstrated problems with <br />the ongoing license: <br />2. Setting public hearing for new license <br />application for Navarre Auto. <br />3. Review of license and possible approval of <br />license for Jimmie's Lounge noting a pending <br />after hours violation against an employee of <br />Jimmie's Lounge. <br />Staff recommends a conditional approval of this <br />license putting the owner on notice because of the <br />after hours violation and noting that licensee will <br />be monitored more closely from a patrol and <br />surveillance standpoint. <br />12 <br />
