1. MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 28, 1987 <br />gPACE STUDY - CONSULTANT TIME SCHEDULE <br />City Administrator Bernhardson recommended adoption of <br />the preliminary work plan for the space consultant <br />study. <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Councilmember <br />Sime, that the Council adopt the City of Orono Municpal <br />Facilities Study work plan as submitted. Motion, Ayes <br />5, Nays 0. <br />COUNCIL STRATEGIC PLANNING - <br />OCTOBER 7, 1987 <br />Council acknowledged the agenda as established for the <br />Strategic Planning Meeting scheduled for October 7, 1987 <br />at 7:00 P.M. <br />1988 BUDGET APPROVAL AND TAX LEVY <br />RESOLUTION #2271 <br />It.was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Councilmember <br />Goetten, that the Council adopt the 1988 Budget as <br />revised together with adoption of Resolution #2271 <br />setting the tax levy for 1988'. Motion, Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />DELINQUENT UTILITIES /SEPTIC BILLINGS* <br />RESOLUTION #2272 <br />It was moved by Councilmember Sime, seconded by <br />Councilmember Callahan, to adopt Resolution #2272 <br />providing for the collection of delinquent charges for <br />1987 sewer and water utility services and annual septic <br />inspection program fees. Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />POLICE OFFICER APPOINTMENT* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Sime, seconded by <br />Councilmember Callahan, that the Council accept the <br />staff's information regarding the replacement of a <br />Police Officer for the vacancy created by the <br />resignation of Mary Hensel. Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />LANDSCAPING FOR LIVINGSTON TOWER PARK* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Sime, seconded by <br />Councilmember Callahan, to award the landscaping bid to <br />Midwest Turf Specialists, Inc. for improvements to <br />Livingston Tower Park for an amount not to exceed <br />$3,829.00, and to authorize equipment rental for an <br />amount not to exceed $500.00 for moving trees from the <br />City nursery to the above site, and that Park Dedication <br />Funds be used to pay for the above improvements. <br />Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />12 <br />
