MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD JULY 13, 1987 <br />11154 PAUL VITRO <br />80 CYGNET PLACE <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />RESOLUTION 12216 <br />City Administrator Bernhardson explained the request to <br />bring in 450 cubic yards of dirt to fill a 20' x 60' x <br />6' deep "trout pond" that was excavated in 1972. He <br />noted the survey indicates that the neighbor's pond <br />overflow can be graded to drain across the 10' easement <br />at the applicant's rear ,lot line and will then flow over <br />the park lot to the creek, creating no impact on <br />neighboring property to the east. Public Works <br />Coordinator Gerhardson has granted approval for trucks <br />to access via Cygnet Park subject to conditions listed. <br />Mr. Vitko was present and was agreeable with staff <br />recommendation /resolution. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Sime, seconded by <br />Councilmember Peterson, to adopt Resolution #2216 <br />approving the conditional use permit per staff <br />recommendation. KRAKE, JR. <br />1380 REST POINT ROAD <br />VARIANCE <br />RESOLUTION #2217 <br />Councilmember <br />request until <br />Ayes 5, Nays <br />City Administrator Bernhardson explained the request to <br />construct an addition consisting of two -car garage and a <br />family & laundry room. The proposed addition will <br />increase the 75 -250' hardcover from 32.6% to 38.8 %. The <br />proposal also requires a minor average lakeshore and <br />street setback variance. <br />Walter and Vaughn De Lea Krake were present for this <br />matter. <br />Assistant Zoning Administrator Gaffron noted that <br />applicant has removed as much hardcover as can be <br />removed and that the plan has been reduced substantially <br />from the original proposal. <br />13 <br />
