t <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD MARCH 17, 1987 <br />ROBERT MCAULIFFE* <br />BIG ISLAND RECORD LOTS 24 AND 27 <br />VARIANCES <br />RESOLUTIONS 12146 & #2147 <br />It was moved by Councilmember Sime, seconded by <br />Councilmember Peterson, to approve the following Lot <br />Area Variances for Robert M. McAuliffe: <br />Resolution #2146 - Big Island Record Lot No. 24 <br />Resolution #2147 - Big Island Record Lot No. 27 <br />Motion, Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />INFORMATION ITEMS - <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT <br />Councilmember Callahan stated he removed this item from <br />the Consent Agenda because the agenda referred to "Amend <br />Ordinance ", questioning what ordinance is to be amended. <br />City Administrator Bernhardson stated it was incorrectly <br />labeled on the agenda and that it should have been <br />"Comprehensive Plan Amendment" for Councils' information <br />only. <br />Council accepted the information that the Comprehensive <br />Plan Amendment to Community Comprehensive Management <br />Plan has been completed. <br />#980 RICHARD KEAVENY <br />EXTENSION OF PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION <br />Councilmember Callahan asked what relation this <br />extension had with the liquor store sale. <br />City Administratc.r Bernhardson explained that Mr. <br />Keaveny may include in part of the subdivision the sale <br />of a portion of 'the liquor store. Mr. Keaveny's <br />originally requested a 180 day extension in which the <br />Council approved a 90 day extension. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Sime, seconded by <br />Mayor Grabek, that the Orono Council extend the <br />expiration deadline for Mr. Keaveny's preliminary <br />subdivision application from April 13, 1987 to July 13, <br />1987. Motion, Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />MAYOR'S REPORT: <br />NEWSLETTER - TOPICS FOR MAYOR'S ARTICLES <br />FACILITIES STUDY - DRAFT <br />Mayor Grabek submitted in Councils' packet important <br />topics to be published in all the major papers around <br />the lake. <br />Councilmember Sime asked for the time period in which <br />these topics will be published. <br />6 <br />
