' MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD DECEMBER 8, 1986 <br />11093 P & A INVESTMENT CONTINUED <br />City Administrator Bernhardson noted the reason access <br />was proposed to the west is due to the existing <br />underlying road and utility easements. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Callahan, seconded by <br />Mayor Butler, to table this matter until the January 12, <br />1987 Council, for further study by the City Attorney. <br />Motion, Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />#1095 CITY OF ORONO* <br />2345 BLAINE AVENUE <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />RESOLUTION #2103 <br />It was moved by Mayor Butler, seconded by Councilmember <br />Grabek, to adopt Resolution #2103 granting a conditional <br />use permit to permit the installation of an emergency <br />preparedness siren per Municipal Zoning Code Section <br />10.20 Subd. 3(D). Motion, Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />#1081 GREGORY W. LONG <br />3359 CRYSTAL BAY ROAD <br />VARIANCE <br />RESOLUTION #2104 <br />Greg Long was present for this matter. <br />City Administrator Bernhardson explained that at the <br />last review, Council requested that staff look at the <br />impact of narrowing the driveway to a width of 16' <br />resulting in a 29.3% hardcover in the 0 -75' zone (versus <br />46.3% originally proposed) ; and shorten addition' 3' <br />leaving a 13' addition resulting in 11' encroachment <br />into 0 -75' zone. <br />Councilmember Adams stated that he visited the site and <br />was convinced that applicant's proposal was ,a <br />justifiable request based on the great variation of <br />average setback within the neighborhood. <br />It was moved by Mayor Butler, seconded by Councilmember <br />Adams, to adopt Resolution #2104 granting the variances <br />per the revised proposal as presented. Motion, Ayes 4, <br />Nays 1. Councilmember Grabek voted nay. <br />ENGINEER'S REPORT: <br />REQUEST FOR PAYMENT 18* <br />WILLIAM MUELLER & SONS <br />It was moved by Mayor Butler, seconded by Councilmember <br />Grabek, to approve payment request #8 to Wm. Mueller & <br />Sons in the amount of $6,930.00 for Willow Drive and Old <br />Crystal Bay Rd. Overlay. Motion, Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />12 <br />
