MINUTES OF THE <br /> ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br /> Monday,July 19,2010 <br /> 6:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> (OTHER ISSUES FOR DISCUSSION,CONTINUED) <br /> Curtis stated there are also a number of DNR shoreland regulations that are being redrafted to restrict <br /> hardcover even further from what is currently allowed but adding a mitigation component. <br /> Curtis noted Staff has changed their procedures somewhat and that they now review the building permit <br /> applications for changes since they are already familiar with the plan. <br /> Kang stated it was her understanding that as a result of the Supreme Court ruling,the City may be <br /> required to change some of their codes. Kang stated the City should do more to encourage people to <br /> utilize pervious materials. <br /> Schwingler stated currently the City does not have a way to relieve that undue hardship and that some <br /> changes may be necessary to relieve that undue hardship. <br /> 9.
