. . �3 <br /> means of improving the quality of water leaving the site. Storm water will <br /> continue to drain this way on the western 2/3 of the lower parking area. The <br /> storm water on the eastern 1/3 of the site will be picked up in a shallow ditch <br /> drain into the storage pond discussed above. This will insure that no additional <br /> water will drain onto the Kelley Cove HOA property and all new construction and <br /> where feasible on the existirig roof drains will discharge to drain County Road <br /> No.15.. <br /> During construction, the contractor will be required to install and maintain <br /> silt fence at all locations where runoff occurs from any area under construction. A <br /> rock shake-off at parking lots exits will not be required as the public must have <br /> access to the existing businesses. Therefore, the contractor will be required to <br /> sweep the parking lots as needed to prevent vehicles and runoff from carrying <br /> any dirt or debris from the site. <br /> The contractor will be required to perform daily inspections to see that all <br /> protective measures are operationaL <br /> All of the area proposed for new construction is currently being utilized in some manner <br /> at the present time. Therefore, no environmental, historical, archeological, or rare <br /> species reviews were conducted. There are no wetlands located on the site. <br /> RESPONSIBITITY FOR CONSTRUCTION, OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF <br /> SWPP DEVICES. <br /> The construction of all SWPP devices required by this document, or the plans and <br /> specifications will be the responsibility of the contractor. The contractor will also be <br /> responsible for the operation and maintenance of all such devices until the final <br /> acceptance of the project by the owner.
