� � � MINUTES OF THE <br /> ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br /> Monday,March 21,2016 <br /> 6:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> Thiesse stated he is not opposed to a clean sheet but that there should be some way that applicants are <br /> aware that the Planning Commission likes to have as many regulations as possible met on a new home or <br /> a vacant lot. <br /> Curtis indicated she met with the applicant and the designer and talked about all the issues. The <br /> applicants at that time were advised to meet the 25 percent hardcover limit. <br /> Thiesse stated the applicants should be made well aware that the Council and Planning Commission are <br /> far more restrictive on a clean sheet. <br /> Gaffron stated Staff has always tried to make that clear to the applicants. <br /> Schoenzeit stated given the size of the lot,the applicants could have easily eliminated a small portion of <br /> the house footprint. <br /> ADJOiIRNMENT <br /> Schoenzeit moved, Thiesse seconded,to adjourn the Orono Planning Commission meeting at 9:03 <br /> p.m. VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Denise Leskinen, Chair <br /> Page 21 of 21 <br />
