MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD APRIL 14, 1986 <br />3220 WATERTOWN ROAD - <br />HAZARDOUS BUILDING PROCEEDINGS <br />It was moved by Councilmember Frahm, seconded by <br />Councilmember Hammerel, to direct staff to hold in <br />abeyance hazardous building proceedings if a reasonable <br />fix up schedule can be maintained by current owner. <br />Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />SHAVER /TEARSE RIGHT -OF -WAY PERMIT* <br />RESOLUTION #1983 <br />It was moved by Councilmember Frahm, seconded by <br />Councilmember Hammerel, to adopt Resolution No. 1983 <br />grainting right -of -way permit to the Shaver /Tearse <br />property application P.I.D.02- 117 -23 43 0011. Motion, <br />Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />NATIONAL VOLUNTEER WEEK* <br />RESOLUTION #1981 <br />It was moved by Councilmember Frahm, seconded by <br />Councilmember Hammerel, that the City adopt Resolution <br />No. 1981 establishing April 20 -27, 1986 as National <br />Volunteer Week in the City of Orono together with <br />proclamation thanking all the City's volunteers for <br />their excellent efforts. Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />CRYSTAL BAY SEWER PROJECT - <br />CAUCUS RESOLUTION <br />It was moved by Councilmember Frahm, seconded by <br />Councilmember Hammerel, that the City Council <br />acknowledge receipt of the caucus resolution dated March <br />18, 1986. Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />DRIVEWAY - 1180 ELMWOOD - QUIT CLAIM DEED* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Frahm, seconded by <br />Councilmember Hammerel, that Council approve the <br />information as presented by staff for driveway easement <br />at 1180 Elmwood Avenue. Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />RESIGNATION* <br />ASSISTANT CHIEF WINTON BURMASTER <br />It was moved by Councilmember Frahm, seconded by <br />Councilmember Hammerel, that Council accept the <br />resignation of Assistant Chief Winton Burmaster, <br />effective April 30, 1986. Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT GOLF COURSE* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Frahm, seconded by <br />Councilmember Hammerel, to employ temporary help at the <br />Golf Course as follows: <br />Doug Erickson, Betty Stevens, Stephanie Sligo, Roy <br />Peterson, Elizabeth Gallo, and Don Oas at hourly pay <br />ranging from $4.20 to $4.90 per hour. <br />Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />12 <br />
