MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 24, 1986 <br />CARPETING - POLICE DEPARTMENT* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Frahm, seconded by <br />Councilmember Grabek, that the Council release budgeted <br />monies for replacement of the carpet in the Police <br />Department. Motion, Ayes 3, Nays 0. <br />C.D.B.G. SEWER ASSESSMENT GRANT PROGRAM* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Frahm, seconded by <br />Councilmember Grabek, that the Council accept the <br />information and approve the City's request for <br />discretionary monies from the County to help fund the <br />sewer assessment grant program. Motion, Ayes 3, Nays 0. <br />LETTER OF AUTHORITY - JOHN GERHARDSON <br />Acting Mayor Adams questioned who the appointed acting <br />Administrator would report to. . <br />City Administrator Bernhardson stated that he reports to <br />the Council in general working directly with the Mayor <br />as the Chairperson of the Council. He stated that this <br />would be incorporated in the Letter of Authority. <br />It was moved by Acting Mayor Adams, seconded by <br />Councilmember Frahm, that the City Council approve the <br />Letter of Authority as amended for John Gerhardson to <br />act as the Administrator in the absence of Mark <br />Bernhardson under the provisions outlined in the <br />attached letter. Motion, Ayes 3, Nays 0. <br />PUBLIC AUCTION - VEHICLES* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Frahm, seconded by <br />Councilmember Grabek, that the Council approve the sale <br />of the listed vehicles at public auction on March 29, <br />1986. Motion, Ayes 3, Nays 0. <br />SEWER CONNECTION - VanEeckhout* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Frahm, seconded by <br />Councilmember Grabek, City Council accept the <br />information regarding the request for sewer from Mr. <br />Charles VanEeckhout. Motion, Ayes 3, Nays 0. <br />SENIOR CITIZEN DEFERMENT* <br />REAPPLICATION FROM 80 -1 PROJECT - <br />RESOLUTIONS #1934 & #1935 <br />It was moved by Councilmember Frahm, seconded by <br />Councilmember Grabek, that the Council adopt the <br />following resolutions establishing deferrals for those <br />named within each of the resolutions: <br />Resolution #1934 - Henry M.
