MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD JANUARY 13, 1986 <br />#996 JAMES MCNAUGHTON continued t <br />suitable under a full -year usage and in this climate. <br />James McNaughton was present for this matter and <br />stated that the original proposal was not designed for <br />permanent daily use. He also noted the need for a turn <br />around for safe access onto Shadywood Road. <br />Assistant Zoning Administrator Gaffron further explained <br />the new proposed plan, noting that applicant had <br />demonstrated he could install a paved driveway which <br />would increase hardcover to just under 35 %. <br />Councilmember Frahm stated that he felt strongly about <br />not granting additional variances, especially regarding <br />hardcover, to new projects like this one which were <br />previously granted a variance to be allowed to be..built. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Hammerel, seconded by <br />Councilmember Grabek to adopt Resolution #1908 approving <br />the variance allowing a maximum of 35% hardcover. <br />Motion, Ayes 3, Nays 1. Councilmember Frahm voted nay <br />based on his previous comments. <br />#997 EUGENE ROSENTHAL* <br />640 TONRAWA ROAD <br />PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION <br />It was moved by Councilmember Frahm, seconded by <br />Councilmember Hammerel, to approve the preliminary <br />subdivision as proposed. Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />#998 MAUREEN S. BELLOWS* <br />265 BROWN ROAD SOUTH <br />PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION <br />Charles and Maureen Bellows were present for this <br />matter. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Frahm, seconded by <br />Councilmember Hammerel, to approve the preliminary <br />subdivision as proposed. Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />#1000 WILLIAM WEAR <br />2160 WAYZATA BOULEVARD <br />VARIANCE <br />RESOLUTION <br />City Administrator Bernhardson explained the request for <br />a variance to add additional signage for shopping center <br />use. <br />William Wear was present for this matter. He stated <br />that he is requesting to put a 21' sign by the east <br />driveway for a tenant which proposes a time and <br />temperature sign which lists the tenants name also. <br />tul <br />
