Fox stated they are going through this application process today in order to better market <br /> the property and to let potential buyers know that they would be allowed to construct a residence on the <br /> property. Fox stated in his view what is being proposed fits in with the rest of the neighborhood and is <br /> reasonable given the location of the property. <br /> Kempf stated this is a little island of land with a substantial house on it and that a smaller lot begets a <br /> smaller house. Kempf recommended the applicants consider reducing the size of the house. <br /> Berg noted this is a unique piece of land with a smaller buildable area and that the lot simply does not <br /> support the amount of structure that is being proposed. Fox noted the existing house on the property has been there <br /> since 1939 and that they are unable to have a basement.
