The City Council has considered this applicaticn including ihe findings and <br /> recommendations of the Planning Commission, reports by City staff, comnnents <br /> by the applicants and the effect of the proposed variance on the health, safety <br /> and welfare of the community. <br /> CONCLUSIONS, ORDE�t A1�iD COND[TIONS <br /> Based upon one or more of the above findings, tlie Orono City Council hereby <br /> grants a variance to Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.03, �ubdivision 8(D) to allow the <br /> construction of a 736 s.f. garage located 227' from the front lot line where the principal <br /> structure is located 329' from the front lot line and where no accessory structures are allowed <br /> to be located nearer the front lot line than the principal structure. <br /> Approval was subject to the following conditions: <br /> 1. Authorities granted by this variance run wit�� the property not with the <br /> applicants, but are permissive only and must be exercised by application for a <br /> building permit within one year of the date of Co�ncil approval, or this variance <br /> will expire on that date (March 23, 1999). <br /> Page 2 of 5 � <br />
