Regarding <br /> Nonconformities it states"(a) Any nonconformity, including the lawful use or <br /> occupation of land or premises existing at the time of the adoption of an additional � <br /> control under this chapter, may be continued,including through repair,replacement, <br /> restoration, maintenance, or improvement,but not including expansion,unless: (1) <br /> the nonconformity or occupancy is discontinued for a period of more than one year" <br /> We believe that we meet the requirements of this section, but are asking for a <br /> variance for re-configuration of existing hardcover which will allow for closer <br /> conformity to zoning requirements, and the elimination of 5 of the 6 current non- <br /> conformities. Our application brings this property much closer to confornuty than <br /> currently exists and cures many existing non-conformities. <br /> 11) It will not. <br /> 12)It does.
