MINUTES OF THE <br />ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />Monday, August 8, 2005 <br />7:00 o'clock p.m. • <br />(Home Occupation License Review, Continued) <br />Peterson stated she is opposed to the motion because she would like to see a longer time frame for <br />removal of the equipment. <br />Sansevere indicated he would be willing to extend the amount of time. <br />Bonnema indicated his home has been on the market and that he would like a definite deadline for when <br />the business will be off the property. <br />Murphy amended his motion to impose a deadline of November 15, 2005, for removal of all <br />equipment designated by Staff. White seconded. VOTE: 4, Nays 1, Peterson Opposed. <br />MAYOR/COUNCIL REPORT <br />Sansevere stated he would like a period of time established for when people can request amendments to <br />resolutions. <br />White stated the applicants have until they sign off on the resolution. <br />Murphy indicated City Administrator Moorse and himself will be meeting with Mn/DOT and Ames <br />Construction to discuss issues involving the railroad's delay in leveling the tracks and how that will <br />impact construction. <br />White indicated he has recently walked the Dakota Trail from the Crystal Bay Post Office to the end of <br />Casco Point and that in his opinion the houses located along this trail are not in close proximity as <br />compared to other trails in other communities. <br />PUBLIC SERVICE DIRECTOR'S REPORT <br />*13. REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NUMBER 1— NAVARRE WATER TOWER <br />REHABILITATION <br />White moved, McMillan seconded, to approve Change No. 1 for the Navarre Water Tower <br />Rehabilitation Project to Classic Protective Coatings, Menomonie, Wisconsin, in the amount of <br />$2,500. VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />• <br />White moved, McMillan seconded, to approve Request for Payment No.1 for the Navarre Water <br />Tower Rehabilitation Project to Classic Protective Coatings, Menomonie, Wisconsin, in the amount • <br />of $137,584.70.
