' MIlVUTES OF THE <br /> ORONO PLANNING COMIVIISSION <br /> Tuesday,February 20,2007 ' <br /> ' 6:00 o'clock p.m. <br /> (#07-3250 Philip Carlson,Continued) <br /> • Zullo stated the height of the boulder walls may be the reason for the concem and inquired whether <br /> any consideration has been given to incorporating both boulder walls and keystone walls. . <br /> Caxlson stated the bouiders would have a longer longevity and would be very low maintenance. • <br /> Zullo commented if the boulders are not installed correctly,there could be drainage and seepage. <br /> Carlson stated she did discuss that with their engineer to ensure that the walls were constructed <br /> correctly. . . <br /> Rahn inquired whether the applicants have determined if the retaining walls would be boulder walls. <br /> Carlson stated boulder walls would be preferred. <br /> Gaffron stated if the City Engineer is not agreeable to anything less than 50 feet,the applicants would <br /> � need to construct the keystone retaining walls � <br /> Rahn opened the public hearing at 6:30 p.m. <br /> There were no public comments concerning this application. <br /> Ra.hn closed the public hearing at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Rahn moved,Kroeger seconded,to recommend approval of Application#07-3250,Philip <br /> Carlson of Interspace-West,Inc.,granting of a B-6 PUD General Concept Plan approval, <br /> reliminary lat approval,commercial site plan approval, and easement vacations in <br /> conjunction with dedication of new easements.
