MINUTES OF THE <br /> ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> Monday,July 17,2006 <br /> 6:00 o'clock p.m. <br /> (#06-3180 William Ulrich,Continued) <br /> Schmitt stated visually it would not appear that long since it is angled somewhat. <br /> Bremer stated the homes located across the lake from this structure would have the greatest impact. <br /> Bremer indicated the applicant has the option of having the Planning Commission vote on this application <br /> or having this application tabled to allow him time to redesign his plans. , <br /> Schmitt inquired if the Council denied this application,if it would be considered a substantial change to <br /> reduce the addition by a garage stall. <br /> Gaffron stated the application could come back before the Planning Commission if the size of the <br /> structure is reduced. <br /> Schmitt noted this application has akeady been delayed because of the septic issues. <br /> Bremer recommended a rain garden be included in the plans. <br /> Schmitt stated the neighbors are in support of this project. <br /> Bremer inquired what the applicant would like the Planning Commission to do on his application. <br /> Schmitt stated they would like to proceed forward to the City Council. <br /> Bremer moved,Jurgens seconded,Application#06-3180,Bruce Schmitt o,n behalf of William <br /> Ulrich,2280 French Creek Circle,to recommend denial of the lakeshore setback variance and to � <br /> recommend approval of the average lakeshore setback variance subject to the recommendations of <br /> the City Engineer and septic system inspector.
