Dainpier indicated his view of <br /> the lake to the north consists of 100 percent of his neighUor's house,which was consh•ucfied in the 0-75 <br /> foot setback. Dampier stated he has no lakeshore view to the north and his view to the south is of his <br /> other adjacent neighbor. Both of the neighbors encroach on the 10-foot setback,which makes all three <br /> houses nonconforniing sh•uctures. Dainpier stated the three houses are very similar in size and are all on <br /> 50-foot lots,with the prime difference Ueing that the neighUors to the north and south have been granted <br /> variances to construct garages, with the neighbor to the south also having a boathouse and playhouse that <br /> encroaches on the lake setback. � ' • <br /> Dam�ier stated apparently there is some confusion in what he is proposing and that he has permission to <br /> construct a 16-foot by 30-foot deck on the front of his deck,which consists of 480 square feet of <br /> structural coverage. Dampier stated he would like to trade the 480 square feet of structural coverage in <br /> return for 154 square feet of struct�ual coverage. - <br /> Danlpier stated he is not requesting a side setback variance and that he would like to bring the fiont of his <br /> house up to the average setback line. Dampier reiterated he would like to trade 480 square feet of deck <br /> for 154 square feet of structure. Dampier indicated he is in need of the extra space to construct a bedroom <br /> for his daughter,who is expecting a child in the near future. <br /> Ralui inquired what plan reflects the figures that Dampier has utilized toniglit. <br /> . Dampier stated they are not reflected on the plan Uefore the Planning Conunission tonight and that he just <br /> made the recalculation Iast night. <br /> Bremer noted the amount of the lot coverage variance would need to be amended. <br /> Turner noted there are also iwo cantilevered areas that would need to be included in the calculation. � <br /> Dampier indicated he did include lhose in his calculations.
