REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING OF NOVEMBER 22, 2004 <br />McMillan requested page 11 of the minutes be corrected under Item 16 to reflect that she abstained from <br />the vote. <br />White requested page 9 of the minutes be corrected to reflect CLE class rather than CCE class. <br />McMillan moved, White seconded, to approve the minutes of the Regular City Council meeting of <br />November 22, 2004, as corrected. VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />*4. TRUTH IN TAXATION HEARING OF DECEMBER 6, 2004 <br />Murphy moved, White seconded, to approve the minutes of the Truth In Taxation Hearing of <br />December 6, 2004, as submitted. VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS — 7:00 P.M. <br />5. 2005 LEVY ADOPTION HEARING — ADOPTION OF 2005 BUDGET AND TAX LEVY, <br />7:25 p.m. — 7:30 p.m. <br />A. ADOPT FINAL 2004 LEVY COLLECTIBLE IN 2005 — RESOLUTION NO. 5264 <br />Moorse noted a number of City Council work sessions were held this past summer, along with a truth in is <br />taxation hearing on December 6` ", to discuss the City's 2005 levy. Moorse recommended the City <br />Council adopt the 2005 budget and tax levy. <br />Peterson opened the public hearing at 7:26 p.m., and asked for public comments. <br />There were no public comments. <br />Peterson closed the public hearing at 7:27 p.m. <br />McMillan moved, Peterson seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 5264, a Resolution Adopting the <br />Final 2004 Tax Levy Collectible in 2005. VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />B. ADOPT 2005 GENERAL FUND BUDGET — RESOLUTION NO. 5265 <br />White moved, McMillan seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 5265, a Resolution to <br />Adopt the 2005 General Fund Budget. VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />C. ADOPT THE 2005 SPECIAL REVENUE FUNDS BUDGETS — RESOLUTION <br />NO. 5266 <br />Murphy moved, Sansevere seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 5266, a Resolution to Adopt the <br />2005 Special Revenue Funds Budgets.
