���� � ���• � . <br /> ♦ � <br /> Cit� of ORONO <br /> � RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> � NO. 2638 <br /> • - • • ' . <br /> A R$SOLIITION GRANTING <br /> VARIANCES TO <br /> MONICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 10.55, SDBDIVISIONS 8 AND <br /> SECTION 10.41, SDBDIVISION 10 (D) AND <br /> PER SECTION 10.03, SDBDIVISION 19 <br /> GRANTS A CONDITIONAI� IIS$ PERMIT AND <br /> PER SECTION 10.41, SDBDIVISION 2 <br /> APPROVES THE COr�Il�ItCIAL SITE PLAN <br /> FOR MINNETONRA BOAT WORRS <br /> FILE #1396 <br /> WHEREAS, Genmar Industries, Inc. (hereinafter "the - <br /> applicant") has an interest in the property located at 1449 <br /> Shoreline Drive within the City of Orono (hereinafter "City") and <br /> legally described as follows: <br /> � Exhibit A attached (hereinafter "the property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant proposes the expansion of an <br /> existing 42 stall parking Iot by 26 additional stalls for a total <br /> of 68 stalls to support a boat slip expansion of the commercial <br /> marina of 48 slips for a total of 114 slips. Such improvement <br /> r.equires approval of a conditional use permit for land <br /> alterations in excess of 100� cubic yards and a variance to <br /> Section 10.55, Subdivision 8 for land alterations conducted <br /> within the 0-75' lakeshore protected area where none is allowed, <br /> and per Section 10.41, Subdivision 10 (D) seeks approval of a <br /> hardcover variance within the 0-75' setback area for an increase <br /> of 2,219 square feet or 1.7� (total existing = 23,390 s.f. or <br /> 14.1�, total proposed = 25,609 s.f. or 15.48$) as a result of the <br /> expanded parking area where no hardcover is allowed, and per <br /> Section 10.41, Subdivision 2 seeks approval of a commercial site <br /> plan for the expanded parking area within the eastern portion of <br /> the marina property divided by Hennepin County Road 15. <br /> NOW, TH$REFORE, BE IT R$SOLVED by the City Counci 1 of <br /> Orono, Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1.
