.r , <br /> rO, <br /> o.", O CITY of ORONO <br /> '= RESOLUTION ObT1F8CfY COUNCIL <br /> IA r'* A, NO. <br /> CONCLUSIONS, ORDER AND CONDITIONS <br /> Based upon the above findings, the Orono City Council hereby grants a variance <br /> to Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.61, Subdivision 2 (A-3) to allow placement of a sign 45 <br /> s.f. in surface area where only a 12 s.f. individual sign surface area is allowed, and to allow <br /> total signage square footage of 148 s.f. on the property where only 24 s.f. of sign surface would <br /> normally be allowed, and granting a variance to Section 10.61, Subdivision 2 (C) to allow height <br /> of the sign to be approximately 9' where an 8' height above grade is normally allowed, subject <br /> to the following conditions: <br /> 1. The existing temporary banner sign advertising the church school shall be <br /> removed upon construction of the new sign. <br /> 2. Applicant shall obtain the appropriate building permit prior to placement of the <br /> sign. <br /> 3. Authorities granted by this variance run with the property not with the applicant, <br /> but are permissive only and must be exercised by application for a building <br /> permit within one year of the date of Council approval, or this variance will <br /> expire on that date (October 10, 1995). <br /> 4. Violation of or non-compliance with any of the terms and conditions of this <br /> resolution shall constitute a violation of the zoning code, shall automatically <br /> terminate any authority granted herein, and shall be punishable as a misdemeanor. <br /> 5. The undersigned applicant have read, understood and hereby agrees to the terms <br /> of this resolution and on behalf of itself, its heirs, successors and assigns, hereby <br /> agrees to the recording of this resolution in the chain of title of the property. <br /> Page 3 of 5 <br /> Form 5005 Disk Orono <br />
